Leatherique Prestine Oil

Leatherique Rejuvenator oil can be used on any type of leather, new or old. The all-natural product is water based, and has no oil in it despite the old-timey name. Leather manufactured within the past 25 years or so does have a protective coating on it, but this coating is water resistant, NOT water-proof! Leatherique Rejuvenator deeply penetrates the hyde to clean and condition the leather.

How to Use

Step 1: remove excess dirt from the surface of the upholstered piece or interior well. It is best to either use a vacuum or soft brush to clean seams, folds and cracks.
Use the Rejuvenator oil to draw out contaminants and dirt from the pores of the leather.

Step 2: Use your hands to massage a liberal amount (about 4 oz. per seat) into the seat. You can also use a soft sea sponge, terry cloth applicator or soft paint brush. Then, roll the windows up and park the car in the sun to create a “steam room” effect.

Step 3: Once the Rejuvinator oil has permeated into the pores and fibers of the leather, and the pH correct proteins and collagens have strengthened and nourished it, the surface could be imperfect. It could feel tacky, gritty or have a white haze. This is nothing more than the dirt, grime, air pollution, perspiration, salts and other toxins that have resurfaced from the texture of the leather.

Step 4: Use a spray bottle to apply Pristine Clean, and wipe off with a soft lint-free cloth. Agitate tough dirt or vinyl surfaces by brushing the cleaner into the grain with a soft brush. Let stand for a few minutes, then gently buff with a clean and dry soft cloth after removing all dirt. Pristine clean will clean without removing the conditioner that permeated into the leather. This process can also be used to soften and condition Tex vinyl areas, or clean rubber window trim.
